In 2015, Aerospace Propulsion Products (APP) implemented ISAH ERP. APP pursued a Manufacturing ERP to support a hybrid production model that includes decade long R&D small series development alongside industrial production runs with lead times of days or weeks, and project manager Jürgen Kloonen reported that inventory data, financial figures and production files had been recorded in a dispersed manner and systems were not linked.
The ISAH ERP deployment focused on modules for inventory management, production planning and project based production control, with purchasing and financial management capabilities configured to APP requirements. Traceability capabilities were emphasized because traceability is crucial in space travel, and APP selected ISAH in part because traceability processes and recordkeeping were well organized. ISAH ERP was configured to handle both small series through project workflows and larger volumes through standard inventory and production processes.
Implementation was executed in collaboration with consultancy firm IPL under the oversight of project manager Jürgen Kloonen, consolidating previously dispersed inventory, production and financial records into a single ISAH ERP environment. Operational coverage included engineering, production shop floor, procurement and finance, aligning project management and inventory modules with shop floor workflows. The deployment standardized data capture and material traceability across development and production streams.
ISAH ERP provided APP with a unified Manufacturing ERP platform that addressed purchase and inventory management needs while preserving project oriented workflows for long lead research items. APP reported satisfaction with the solution look and feel and with ISAH's organization of traceability processes, which was a decisive factor in selection. The implementation targeted more efficient production streamlining and improved purchase and inventory control.
