Continuum Applied Technology Legacy Continuum CORRIDOR Aviation Foundation Aviation ERP ERP Services and Operations n/a 2011 2012
In 2011 Aerospace Technologies Group implemented Continuum CORRIDOR Aviation Foundation as its Aviation ERP to centralize procurement and materials planning for its avionic electronic window shade systems. The deployment in Boca Raton supported an AS9100C procurement team of four buyers responsible for global and domestic sourcing and purchasing of raw materials, machined parts, injected molded plastics, electronics, MRO, capital equipment, and indirect services. Continuum CORRIDOR Aviation Foundation was configured to support core Aviation ERP workflows including purchase order management, materials requirements planning and MRP-driven resourcing, supplier management, quality controls, and contract administration. The implementation included reporting and analytics for supply chain metrics, with the Continuum CORRIDOR Aviation Foundation feeding charts and SCOR cards to executive management for visibility into supplier performance and schedule adherence. Governance changes and process work accompanied the system configuration, the procurement manager authored policies and procedures for supplier selection, risk management strategies, and contract agreements, and the rollout emphasized supplier performance monitoring. The program leveraged team proficiency with AMICS and Corridor Aviation MRP, included liaison processes with Boeing and Airbus, and produced documented continuous improvement observations in on-time delivery, schedule adherence, cost reduction, and quality as reported to executive leadership.
