Intuit Legacy Intuit QuickBooks Online ERP Financial ERP n/a 2019 2019
In 2019 AFairchild implemented Intuit QuickBooks Online as its ERP Financial application. The engagement ran from July 2019 to February 2020 and was executed from AFairchild PC in Carrollton, TX, with a Project Manager and consultant performing core accounting and project management tasks. Operational configuration centered on general ledger activities including monthly bank reconciliations, creation of adjusting journal entries in Intuit QuickBooks Online and in QuickBooks Desktop, and vendor 1099 preparation and processing. Master data workflows included creating, updating, and deleting client, project, and staff records in CCH Access and the Project Management module to align project accounting with ledger entries. Integrations and operational coverage connected Intuit QuickBooks Online with tax and engagement systems, with client documents maintained in CCH Engagement and client communications sent via Share Vantage. The implementation tied project management records to accounting entries so that accounting, vendor management, and client services workflows were coordinated across the small firm environment. Governance and process controls were formalized during the July 2019 to February 2020 engagement, establishing a monthly reconciliation cadence, formal AJE creation and review procedures, and a documented vendor 1099 processing workflow. Implementation ownership rested with the Project Manager and consultant at AFairchild PC, who coordinated CCH Engagement, CCH Access, Project Management, Share Vantage, and Intuit QuickBooks Online and Desktop to operationalize accounting and client-facing processes.

Microsoft Legacy Microsoft 365 Collaboration Collaboration n/a 2021 2021
In 2021, AFairchild implemented Microsoft 365 to consolidate office productivity and client collaboration for the firm. The deployment is aligned with the Collaboration apps Category and targets the professional services business functions that support client engagement, administration, and accounting. The Microsoft 365 rollout for a 30 person firm centers on core Collaboration capabilities, including cloud email and calendaring, real time team communication, and document storage and sharing. Typical functional modules in this configuration include Exchange Online for mail, Microsoft Teams for meetings and chat, SharePoint and OneDrive for document management, and the Office desktop and web applications for client deliverables and internal workflows. Public site signals indicate Microsoft 365 is active in external facing and internal workflows, suggesting firm wide adoption across departments rather than siloed use. Governance and operational coverage for this small professional services implementation are likely focused on tenant level account provisioning, access permissions, and standard content governance for client files and email, with rollout and management handled by internal administration rather than an external integrator.
