Affinity Gaming selected and deployed Microsoft Dynamics GP in 2016 to replace a legacy financial system, implementing the ERP Financial application at its Lakeside property to standardize property-level accounting operations. The deployment concentrated on core financial functions—general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, budgeting and financial reporting—aligned with the Director of Finance’s responsibilities for monthly income statements, annual budgets, audits and regulatory filings. Implementation was structured to support and consolidate transactional flows across Accounting, Cage, Count, Purchasing and Warehouse departments and to enable compliance activities (gaming tax returns, regulatory and auditor coordination, SEC schedules). The Dynamics GP environment was operated alongside a portfolio of casino and back-office systems explicitly referenced by the finance organization (FRx, GCA, NeWave, Aristocrat, MGT, Micros, Oasis, InfoGenesis, UKG and AS400/Stratton Warren), indicating operational connections between GP-based financials and property-level gaming, POS, payroll and legacy host systems.

In 2012 Affinity Gaming implemented ADP Enterprise HR across 11 gaming properties, deploying ADP Enterprise together with the eTime timekeeping module to centralize payroll and time collection. The ADP Enterprise HR implementation targeted payroll and timekeeping business functions, and it reached its planned go live date of 11/12/12 for the enrolled properties. This rollout is framed within the Human Capital Management category and supported the company payroll manager by consolidating core payroll operations under a single vendor application.
A temporary engagement was used to assist the payroll manager during the go live and to capture and document existing processes and procedures. The team traveled to the three Colorado properties to map current workflows and to manage the ADP Enterprise and eTime database configuration, including direct deposit setups, garnishment processing, tips and tokes handling, and the tip compliance program. Post go live responsibilities included managing ongoing ADP Enterprise HR and eTime operations, formalizing documented procedures, and training permanent payroll staff on the new processes and controls.

| Microsoft | Legacy | Microsoft Management Reporter (formerly FRx) | EPM | EPM | n/a | 2016 | 2016 |
In 2016, Affinity Gaming implemented Microsoft Management Reporter (formerly FRx) in the EPM category to standardize financial reporting across a property finance organization. The initial deployment focused on the Lakeside property in Iowa and supported the Director of Finance remit covering Accounting, Cage, Count, Warehouse, Purchasing and centralized finance oversight for monthly and annual close processes.
Microsoft Management Reporter (formerly FRx) was configured to deliver statutory and operational financial statements, row and column definition libraries, reporting trees for entity and departmental rollups, and scheduled batch report generation. The implementation targeted monthly income statement production, capital budget and operating budget reporting, and forecast packages used in monthly financial reviews and executive reporting.
The reporting layer was integrated with the property general ledger in Great Plains and designed to consume feeder inputs from operational systems referenced by finance, including Micros, InfoGenesis, GCA, NeWave, Aristocrat, MGT, Oasis, UKG and AS400/Stratton Warren. Data model mapping and account rollup logic consolidated transactional feeds into Management Reporter report definitions to support department level reporting and centralized review.
Governance changes included formalizing report ownership with the Director of Finance, establishing control points for report production and signoff, and embedding report outputs into audit and compliance workflows for the Iowa Racing and Gaming Commission, external auditors and SEC schedule preparation. Training and procedural documentation were put in place to ensure consistent use by finance staff responsible for report writing, journal review, and budget maintenance.
