In 2020, Afinox implemented Jgalileo ERP, an ERP Financial application provided by Sanmarco Informatica, to give the company a unified management system across core business functions. The initiative targeted end to end coverage of sales and service, purchasing, production, the technical office, warehouse, administration and finance, positioning Jgalileo ERP as the central transactional backbone for operational control and financial management.
Prior to the ERP rollout, Sanmarco Informatica integrated the TCE product configurator into Afinox to define sales prices, finished product codes, bills of materials and production cycles, and installing Jgalileo ERP was the subsequent step to manage those defined artifacts within transactional processes. Jgalileo ERP was configured to support order to cash, procure to pay, production planning data, inventory management and financial accounting modules, enabling structured BOM management and cycle definitions created by the configurator to flow into manufacturing and costing workflows.
The implementation integrated a downstream APS production scheduler to define finite capacity work plans and to control customer delivery dates, the APS supplying schedule and load data to the JMES Manufacturing Execution System, which monitors order progress and performs timely reporting of labor costs. A B2B portal was implemented to allow retailers to view exploded product views by family or serial number and to submit offers and spare parts orders, while Qlik Sense was introduced for business intelligence, an ECM solution for document management and Galileo Qualità for complete quality management, all interfacing with Jgalileo ERP to varying degrees to support transactional and analytical use cases.
Governance and operational scope emphasized cross functional process automation, with Jgalileo ERP orchestrating workflows across production, sales, service and finance and standardizing administrative procedures. According to the implementation account, the combined Sanmarco Informatica solutions optimized business processes, improved organizational flows and reduced process execution times by introducing automation and integrated execution control, while maintaining traceability through MES and quality management modules.
