Sage Legacy Sage Intacct ERP Financial ERP Financial Management n/a 2017 2018
In 2017, Agility Recovery implemented Sage Intacct as its ERP Financial application. The deployment included data conversion, structured user testing and parallel testing cycles, and an internal training program to bring accounting staff up to speed on the new accounting ERP processes. The Sage Intacct implementation covered core financial modules and accounting workflows, including accounts payable processing, fixed assets ledger maintenance, depreciation posting, expense accruals, and monthly financial statement preparation. Sage Intacct was used to support journal entry preparation and the reconciliation cadence that underpins financial close activities. Operational configuration supported accounting across six legal entities, with monthly reconciliation and journal entry preparation for over 60 balance sheet accounts, including cash accounts, prepaid assets, accrued interest, accrued expense liabilities, payroll benefit liabilities, sales and use tax payable, inter company multi currency transactions, and deferred rent and leasehold incentive liabilities. Finance and accounting functions were organized to review monthly financial statements with the Controller, identify fluctuations in profit and loss and balance sheet accounts, and ensure timely accrual posting. Governance and process changes emphasized controls around fixed asset reporting and month end close procedures, coupled with automation and streamlined spreadsheet workflows. These process improvements shortened the month end close from 20 business days to 7 business days and were embedded into routine accounting operations at Agility Recovery following the Sage Intacct go live.
