The implementation of Oracle Cloud HCM Absence Management included detailed configuration of operational scheduling constructs such as shifts, patterns, and work schedules, and creation of absence constructs including absence plans, absence types, and absence reasons. The team developed Absence fast formulas to enforce absence type validations and to support accrual calculations, and they executed Fit Gap analysis and business requirements mapping to guide configuration choices. Reporting and analytics were addressed through Oracle Transactional Business Intelligence and BI Publisher reports created across modules, including Active Employee by Department and audit-focused reports.
Integrations were explicitly implemented between Absence Management and Time and Labor to align time capture with leave accrual and validation workflows.
