Inetum Legacy Inetum GenAI Generative AI Platforms AI Development n/a 2024 2024
In 2024, Air Liquide Medical Systems implemented Inetum GenAI, a Generative AI Platforms application developed by Inetum and built on Azure OpenAI to accelerate responses to commercial invitations to tender. The deployment targets tender workflows for fans, supplies and maintenance within Air Liquide Medical Systems, a subsidiary of Air Liquide Healthcare Medtech, and is positioned to support commercial teams and employees who prepare bid responses for end customers such as hospitals. Inetum GenAI was configured with three primary functional modules, document requirement extraction, knowledge search, and answer generation. The solution performs automatic extraction of all requirements from invitations to tender linked to fans, supplies or maintenance, searches an internal knowledge base developed by Air Liquide for relevant sources, and proposes drafted answers for employees to review and adapt, enabling a sourced response base for bid authors. Architecturally the solution is cloud oriented, leveraging Azure OpenAI as the generative model backbone, with integration into Air Liquide’s internally developed knowledge repository to surface cited source material during generation. Inetum is responsible for developing and operating the generative AI technologies, and the implementation connects tender intake and content processing to the knowledge search and response drafting modules used by commercial staff. Governance and operational impacts were defined around bid response efficiency and quality of outputs, the implementation is intended to reduce response times from the usual dozens of days to an almost instantaneous sourced response baseline, simplify procedures and free staff from time consuming tasks in favor of higher value assignments. Inetum’s role covers development and exploitation of the Generative AI Platforms capability for Air Liquide Medical Systems, with the system used to standardize tender handling workflows and centralize sourced answers for employee use.
