Focus Softnet Legacy Focus ERP Oil Gas and Chemicals ERP ERP Services and Operations n/a 2012 2012
In 2012, Al Farman International Trading implemented Focus ERP under the Oil Gas and Chemicals ERP category to centralize business processes and create a single system of record. The deployment aimed to provide a bird's eye view of operations in Qatar and to enable effective MIS reporting across finance, procurement, inventory, and project functions. As Business System Analyst I planned and monitored business policies and procedures, and designed and developed modifications to Focus ERP to resolve operational bottlenecks. The implementation included configuration of core Oil Gas and Chemicals ERP capabilities such as inventory and materials management, procurement and purchase to pay workflows, project cost tracking, and financial ledgers, with business rules and automation layered into standard transaction flows. Focus ERP was configured as a unified instance integrating all business processes within the application to ensure consolidated reporting and control. I evaluated solution alternatives and implemented long term process changes to align the system with ISO certification requirements, embedding compliance checks into workflows and MIS outputs. Governance was established around change control, policy monitoring, and ongoing solution evaluation to manage modifications and sustain operational consistency. The program focused on consolidating operations in Qatar across construction, real estate, finance, procurement, and project management functions using Focus ERP.
