In 2008, Al-Sorayai Group deployed Oracle Retail Warehouse Management as its Warehouse Management solution for warehouse operations supporting manufacturing and distribution across its Saudi Arabia operations. The implementation addressed inventory control and order fulfillment flows, aligning warehouse transaction processing with the company ERP and operational logistics teams.
Oracle Retail Warehouse Management was configured to deliver core Warehouse Management capabilities including receiving, putaway, inventory control, wave and zone picking, packing, shipping, and cycle counting. The deployment incorporated lot and serial tracking and radio frequency barcode workflows, with configuration of picking rules and work orchestration modules consistent with Warehouse Management functional patterns.
