In 2019 Al Wathba Insurance deployed its In-House Insurance Claims Management as an Insurance Claims Management solution to centralize claims operations and link claims processing to customer engagement channels. The implementation sits inside AWNICs in-house application portfolio and was positioned to streamline claims, finance, and customer service workflows while supporting automated e channel distribution of products and services.
The In-House Insurance Claims Management implementation included configurable claims workflows, rule driven payment processing, reporting and dashboards, and automated documented processes for premium refunds and cash claims. The system was configured to support same day payment processing for premium refunds and cash claims and to deliver workflow based claims, finance processes and operational reporting. The implementation also aligned to automated motor policy generation logic and to broker and employee portal workflows for marine and specialty lines.
Operational integration tied the claims application to multiple AWNIC in-house systems, including The AWNIC Edge intelligent communication management system iCMS, Motor Portal, Marine Portal, Human Resources Management System HRMS, Digital Salvage Auction, 360 degree vehicle access capabilities, and the IT Service Desk. Customer facing channels were explicitly integrated, including WhatsApp Business, the corporate Website and the Mobile app to enable automated e channel claims intake and policy servicing across brokers, employees and retail customers.
Governance emphasized project management discipline, timely resolution of queries and a prioritization of customer experience through process standardization and role based workflows. Documented outcomes from internal communications included a customer satisfaction rate of 93 percent, same day processing of premium refunds and cash claims, an average processing time improvement of 70 percent and a 200 percent increase in premium production via e channels during the pandemic, while the solution provided insights to support up sell and cross sell opportunities and purchase pattern analysis.
