In 2018, Alcampo implemented Oracle Cloud ERP to modernize its ERP Financial environment and centralize core finance and procure-to-pay business functions. The Oracle Cloud ERP deployment was scoped to unify general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, fixed assets and a core procure-to-pay model across the company finance and procurement organizations.
The implementation followed a financial core model pattern, configuring Oracle Cloud ERP modules for subledger accounting, intercompany posting, supplier master and PO to invoice matching, and fixed asset lifecycle management. Oracle Cloud ERP was configured to support automated procure-to-pay workflows and reconciliation controls consistent with ERP Financial functional design best practices.
Operational integrations were organized around finance-centric feeds, including bank statement processing, point-of-sale and inventory sales feeds for revenue and stock reconciliation, and consolidation feeds for corporate reporting. Data orchestration emphasized ledger and subledger synchronization so that Oracle Cloud ERP served as the system of record for transactional finance and supplier activity.
Governance and rollout used a core model deployment approach with structured design workshops, user acceptance testing and training for finance and procurement teams, and staged cutover across business units. The program emphasized standardized accounting configuration, control alignment and process documentation to support ongoing finance operations in Oracle Cloud ERP.
