In 2015 Alcohol And Gaming Commission Of Ontario implemented Computronix POSSE ABC as the foundation of a multi phased Regulatory Assurance Solution named iAGCO, deploying a Permitting and Licensing platform to centralize regulatory operations. The implementation was executed with Computronix acting as both vendor and system integrator and established a common application stack for licensing and enforcement workflows across the regulator.
The Computronix POSSE ABC deployment delivered core modules for licensing and enforcement, a public iAGCO portal for customer self service, a staff back office for case and license management, mobile enforcement capabilities for field inspectors, and BI reporting for regulatory analytics. Configuration focused on workflow orchestration, role based access control, and automated licensing lifecycle processes consistent with Permitting and Licensing functional patterns.
Operational scope covered liquor, gaming, horse racing and recreational cannabis licensing and enforcement across Ontario, centralizing intake, case management and citizen facing transactions under the iAGCO brand. Computronix POSSE ABC was integrated into AGCO operational processes to support front office self service and back office regulatory processing, with mobile enforcement extending coverage to field operations.
Governance followed a multi phased rollout model, culminating with a final phase that went live in October 2020, which completed the centralization of licensing and enforcement capabilities under the iAGCO program. The October 2020 go live explicitly improved online services and strengthened pandemic resilience for AGCO public services.
