In 2015, Alestra went into production with NetCracker Technology Digital Business Enablement, deploying the Netcracker Revenue Management solution within its OSS/BSS environment. The implementation targeted revenue management and billing consolidation to reduce overall TCO by eliminating customizations built around its existing billing platform.
The NetCracker Technology Digital Business Enablement deployment centralized billing, rating and charging processes, instituting a function-rich revenue management module to streamline billing operations and accelerate service monetization. Configuration emphasized flexible parameterization rather than code-level customizations to support faster productization and operational agility in billing lifecycle workflows.
Operational scope covered support for new service categories including mobile, security and virtual desktop offerings, while continuing to support Alestra's wireline business as it expanded its portfolio. Integrations focused on unifying charging, rating and billing flows across product teams and billing operations to shorten time-to-market for new services.
Governance and rollout proceeded to production with an emphasis on consolidating systems and centralizing revenue management functions, enabling Alestra to scale revenue operations with new market strategies without compromising service responsiveness. The NetCracker Technology Digital Business Enablement implementation is positioned to accelerate launches of new products swiftly and efficiently while supporting existing offerings, streamlining operations and reducing total cost of ownership.
