In 2021, Alive Milwaukee deployed Givelify to manage online giving through its public website. Alive Milwaukee uses Givelify as its Donor and Fundraising Management application to centralize donation intake for fundraising and donor engagement.
The implementation emphasized embeddable donation pages and hosted giving forms, with configuration for recurring gifts, one time donations, donor record creation, and automated donor receipts. Givelify handles payment capture and contributor data storage, and the deployment leverages the vendor hosted payment and donation workflow typical of Donor and Fundraising Management systems. Reporting and basic gift attribution workflows were configured to support the organization’s development activities.
Operational scope covered the small development and fundraising staff and the public website donation flow, with the Givelify widget embedded on pages referenced from the aliveMKE site. Governance focused on staff user access, donation acknowledgement processes, and procedures for reconciliation of online contributions with the nonprofit's financial records. Givelify was used as the primary Donor and Fundraising Management tool for online contribution processing and donor record capture.
