In 2017 All Def Media implemented iSolved Payroll within the Payroll category to bring employee payroll processing in house. The deployment covered both corporate employee staff and a separate production payroll population, and it centralized payroll administration under the company payroll manager.
iSolved Payroll was configured to support end to end payroll processing, including timecard auditing and edit workflows, manual check and void handling, garnishment processing, and payroll reporting used for month end close. Functional capabilities implemented included tax calculation for multi state payroll, payroll auditing and reconciliation, payroll input and processing, and generation of CFO and Controller facing reports.
Operational integrations included outsourcing production payroll to Production Payroll Services while retaining iSolved Payroll for employee payroll, and feeding payroll outputs into Finance month end processes and HR onboarding and termination workflows. The rollout emphasized documentation retention, regular payroll audits, and centralized administration to support distributed staff across multiple states.
Governance changes were led by a seasoned payroll manager who instituted audit routines, standardized payroll input and approval workflows, and formalized cross functional coordination between Human Resources and Finance. The 2017 move to in house payroll using iSolved Payroll and a small group benefits platform is recorded as achieving annualized cost savings of nearly $90,000, while production payroll operations remained outsourced to Production Payroll Services.
