In 2016 Allianz Global Corporate & Specialty Singapore implemented Oracle E-Business Suite to centralize core finance and accounting workflows within an ERP Financial context. The work focused on integrating the insurance front office accounting feeds with Oracle E-Business Suite to create a single post-booking accounting path for underwriting and treaty events. The implementation delivered explicit functional components, including a product update module for Treaty Capacity identified as the RI-Outward module, an automation process for Marine Monthly Declaration, and a new IFRS booking process layered into the underwriting and accounting module. Oracle E-Business Suite was configured to support the IFRS booking requirements and to house the accounting transactions generated by underwriting and reinsurance processes. Integration work centered on interfacing the insurer s policy and treaty systems into Oracle E-Business Suite so accounting entries and treaty capacity events flowed into the ERP Financial ledger and subledger structures. The technical approach emphasized data feed consolidation and posting orchestration to ensure underwriting events, marine declarations, and reinsurance outwards entries were captured in the E-Business Suite accounting modules. Governance and delivery were executed with a technical consultant from Tata Consulting Services in Singapore assigned from January 2016 to April 2018, responsible for the product upgrade, interface delivery, and embedding the new IFRS booking workflow. Operational coverage focused on underwriting, accounting, reinsurance operations, and marine declaration processing within the Singapore organization, with the achievement record noting delivery of the three named modules and automation components.
