In 2015, Allianz Handwerker Services implemented PTC Intland CodeBeamer as an Application Lifecycle Management platform. The IT Department selected codeBeamer ALM to centralize tracking of real estate property maintenance records and to provide a single repository for maintenance requests, work orders, and historical service documentation across its German operations.
The deployment focused on establishing structured ALM capabilities including requirements and task management, issue and defect tracking, configurable workflows, document versioning, and end to end traceability to link requests to closure. PTC Intland CodeBeamer was used to introduce role based access and approval routing, supporting IT and facilities teams along with property maintenance staff, and to instrument audit trails and change control for maintenance records. The implementation emphasized governance through standardized workflow templates and traceability rules to align maintenance processes with IT operational management and facilities management functions.
