In 2011, Allianz Malaysia implemented FlexSystem FlexHRIS as its Core HR application, centralizing the companys human resources operations across payroll, benefits, performance management, recruitment and employee self service. The deployment supported company wide HR administration at Allianz Malaysia Berhad and was positioned to standardize personnel records, statutory reporting and payroll reconciliation workflows between HR and Finance. FlexSystem FlexHRIS was configured to handle end to end payroll processing and payroll reconciliation reporting to the internal Finance Department, statutory submission workflows for EPF, SOCSO and Income Tax, and employee self service updates. Functional capabilities implemented included personnel file management, compensation and benefits administration for programs such as GPA, GTL and GHS, performance appraisal and year end bonus and salary review workflows, recruitment support with selection tool administration and ad hoc HR metrics and headcount reporting. Operational integrations and coverage emphasized regulatory and external reporting, HR Finance handoffs and third party coordination. The implementation supported monthly payroll reconciliation reporting to Finance and statutory filings to EPF, SOCSO and IRB, routine liaison with tax consultants for foreign workers and response workflows for inquiries from EPF, SOCSO and Income Tax. User acceptance testing and data migration activities were completed as part of system changes and the HR team monitored scheduled backups and retrieval for the HR system database. Governance and process work focused on maintaining data integrity and regulatory compliance, updating HR Standard Operating Procedures and the Employee Handbook, and embedding UAT ownership within HR administration. The HR team administered SOCSO case management, staff welfare processes, HR Portal and ESS updates, and produced regulatory and internal reports for bodies including BNM, LIAM and the labor Department while driving recommendations for process improvement and streamlining of administrative HR processes.
