The deployment centered on Mambu’s loan ledger, configured to represent a wide variety of loan types and to enable Allica to productize bespoke lending offers for small and medium sized businesses. Allica combined Mambu Cloud Banking Platform’s composable architecture with its in house engineering to deliver the breadth of lending capabilities required, leveraging product configuration and account management workflows common to Core Banking platforms. Mambu Cloud Banking Platform was integrated into Allica’s cloud based tech stack to connect ledger functionality with proprietary applications, supporting API led connectivity across loan servicing, underwriting workflows, and customer account operations. Operational coverage included Allica’s offices in Milton Keynes and London and the bank’s relationship management teams working across England, Scotland and Wales, focusing on SME customer segments. Delivery governance emphasized joint Allica and Mambu team collaboration at every stage of the delivery lifecycle, with Allica’s implementation lead citing that collaborative approach as a key success factor. The program successfully went live earlier in 2022, providing a cloud native ledger foundation to absorb the acquired loan portfolio and to support continued product development for the SME market.
