FoundU Workforce Management was configured to support roster creation, upload and distribution, staff time and attendance capture, and wage approval workflows. Centre managers and Assistant Centre Managers used the system for writing rosters, maintaining educator to child ratios, submitting and approving wages, and recording responsible person assignments, reflecting standard Workforce Management functional modules such as scheduling, payroll interface points, and compliance checks. Operational use was documented at the Happy Tots centre on Keats-Moorooka QLD between March 2023 and November 2023, where staff worked across all rooms and entered attendance and staffing data into the FoundU computer system. Staff continued to use Storypark and Kangaroo Time as complementary child engagement and administrative programs while maintaining FoundU Workforce Management as the primary workforce control system, indicating a centre-level toolset composed of rostering plus child engagement platforms. Governance and process changes emphasized centre accountability for roster accuracy and wage approvals, with Assistant Centre Managers and responsible persons running meetings to align staffing goals and compliance. Routine tasks migrated to the FoundU Workforce Management workflow, including roster uploads, approval of wages, and maintenance of ratios, formalizing day to day operations and administrative ownership at the centre manager level.
