Zucchetti Legacy Zucchetti Mago4 ERP ERP Financial ERP Financial Management Giga Working Partners 2018 2018
In 2018 AM Automatic Machines implemented Zucchetti Mago4 ERP as its core ERP Financial application to support order-to-manufacture workflows for a specialized vending machine manufacturer. The deployment targeted highly configurable product records to capture optional extras and multi-configuration sales orders, addressing the sales function requirement to enter complete orders without deep technical intervention. The implementation emphasized Mago4 modules for order management with a product configurator, production management and outsourcing controls, and MRP-driven purchasing planning. AM also configured deferred invoicing workflows and extensive document management using EasyAttachment, enabling automated archiving of system-generated documents and barcode-based scanning for accounts payable. Architecturally the solution leveraged Mago4 web services and a .net based development stack, providing an open integration layer to connect Mago4 ERP Financial with peripheral systems and document repositories. EasyAttachment was integrated to store documents produced by Zucchetti Mago4 ERP and to associate scanned invoices and order documents with items and transactions, extending operational coverage across sales, production, purchasing and accounts payable. Giga Working Partners served as the system integrator and consultant for configuration, customization and operator training, focusing on tailoring the configurator rules and MRP parameters to AMs component lead times. Governance activity included partner-led training for nontechnical operators and on-site knowledge transfer to IT staff, enabling process ownership for order entry, purchasing scheduling and outsourced production coordination. According to AMs IT management, Zucchetti Mago4 ERP met the stated business needs, delivering a configurable order entry experience, calibrated MRP functionality for long lead items, and powerful automatic document procedures through EasyAttachment. The team highlighted the openness of web services and the user friendliness of the .net based interface, and credited Giga Working Partners for enabling customization and operational adoption.
