In 2022, Ameos Group deployed Oracle i.s.h.med as an Electronic Health Record across more than 30 clinics in the German-speaking region. The rollout used the i.s.h.med Model System as a blueprint to standardize clinical documentation and workflows across acute and specialty services.
The implementation focused on clinical documentation modules, medication event logging, and document management, with configuration of model templates and clinical workflow orchestration within Oracle i.s.h.med. The program also encompassed infrastructure modernisation to support scalable EHR services and the continuous capture of longitudinal patient histories.
Deployment was executed as a blueprint program in partnership with Oracle Health, standardizing record structures and clinical process governance across participating sites with phased clinic cutovers and local configuration. In 2016 Ameos Group deployed Serrala FinanceSuite Treasury as its Treasury Management application as part of the groupwide SAP FI/CO Reorganisation Projekt PEAK. The implementation established a group-level treasury capability to operate alongside SAP financial modules and to support centralized cash and liquidity oversight across the organization.
Serrala FinanceSuite Treasury was configured to provide core treasury functions consistent with Treasury Management systems, including cash management, bank connectivity and payment orchestration, and liquidity visibility. The deployment was aligned with SAP FI/CO work packages for General Ledger including Chart of Accounts, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable including SAP SD, and Fixed Asset Accounting, ensuring functional separation while enabling treasury-level cash workflows.
Operationally the treasury application ran in an SAP-centric landscape, with workflows executed in SAP and data flows to up- and downstream IT systems maintained as part of the project. A single central contact at group level coordinated FI-related questions from parallel SAP projects SAP MM, HanseOrga treasury, AIM electronic invoice verification and KIS patient information system, preserving cross-project alignment.
Governance responsibilities included ensuring the monthly financial reporting process for the group, defining workflow handoffs between Serrala FinanceSuite Treasury and SAP processes, and embedding treasury procedures into the PEAK rollout. Serrala FinanceSuite Treasury supported the orchestration of treasury tasks while the project retained SAP FI/CO ownership of core ledger, payables, receivables and fixed asset accounting.
