In 2024 American Products implemented TimePayment for Payment Processing on its website. The implementation places TimePayment into the company storefront to manage online payment acceptance and customer financing options within the e-commerce checkout flow.
The TimePayment deployment configures customer-facing checkout integration, hosted payment flows for installment financing, tokenization for stored payment methods, and reconciliation feeds consistent with Payment Processing capabilities. Configuration work emphasized embedding checkout widgets and server side authorization flows to support billing schedules, invoicing controls, and payment plan orchestration used by order management.
Integration is executed directly on American Products' website, connecting the web storefront payment flow to accounts receivable and order-to-cash processes, and enabling sales, customer service, and finance teams to enroll customers in payment plans during order entry. Operational coverage is focused on the United States e-commerce channel and the internal finance and customer support functions that manage settlements and collections.
Governance and process changes center on defining billing rules, dispute and refund workflows, settlement reconciliation procedures, and internal training for sales and finance staff on new checkout and collections interactions. Rollout activities prioritized website activation, updating customer-facing checkout flows, and documenting operational procedures for payment plan handling and financial reconciliation.

In 2012, American Products implemented Infor CloudSuite Industrial (Syteline) as its Manufacturing ERP. The deployment was led by the Director of Information Technology and operated alongside a mixed on premise and cloud infrastructure that included roughly 25 Windows servers, 15 Linux servers, and hosted instances in Amazon AWS and Google Compute Engine.
The Infor CloudSuite Industrial (Syteline) rollout focused on core manufacturing ERP capabilities such as inventory control, production order management, and shop floor control to support production operations. The IT team developed custom integration software to interface with Syteline and built a PHP and MySQL web application that queried the ERP SQL database to surface dashboard indicators for operational visibility. A bespoke Raspberry Pi solution was also developed to present production data directly to the manufacturing floor, tying ERP data feeds to physical displays.
Infrastructure architecture integrated an IBM storage area network configured for hot failover and virtualized compute across Microsoft Hyper V, VMware ESX, and Proxmox hypervisors to host ERP services and over 100 virtual desktop environments. Hosted cloud nodes in AWS and Google Compute Engine were part of the application topology, and Microsoft Exchange environments were migrated to Office 365 as part of broader IT platform consolidation. Network scope included re running campus fiber and the integration of multiple acquired companies into a unified WAN to provide consistent ERP connectivity across sites.
Governance and operational controls implemented alongside the application included documented disaster recovery procedures, centralized redundant telephony in the Springfield Underground, and new policies and procedures for technical staff. The Director of Information Technology retained operational oversight and staff skill development, ensuring the Manufacturing ERP, its custom interfaces, and associated infrastructure supported production, manufacturing operations, and IT operations.
