Oracle Analytics Cloud ingests data from multiple operational sources including finance systems, manpower management records, parcel and mail operations feeds, and retail point of sale data, enabling interactive self service dashboards for customers as well as operational dashboards for An Post staff in mail processing plants nationwide. The Oracle Analytics Cloud deployment delivers analyst facing reports and self service visualization capabilities that support customer insight delivery and day to day monitoring of mail and parcel operations.
An Post has instrumented anti fraud detection within Oracle Analytics Cloud that applies algorithmic scoring to flag suspicious activity and triggers alerts into a central office when the system detects potential fraud. The centralized notification system routes alerts into a central investigations office so cases are handled immediately instead of investigations occurring three weeks after the event, reducing the window in which fraud can persist.
Governance and operational coverage span central investigations, retail operations, finance, manpower management, and mail processing sites nationwide, with workflows updated to escalate algorithmic alerts to a central team for rapid response.
