FIS Global Legacy FIS Cross-Asset Trading and Risk Platform (ex Front Arena) Trade Order Management System (TOMS) Investment Management n/a 2012 2012
In 2012 Anchorage Capital Group implemented FIS Cross-Asset Trading and Risk Platform (ex Front Arena) as its Trade Order Management System (TOMS) to support trading and risk management functions for a New York based registered investment adviser managing private investment funds. The FIS Cross-Asset Trading and Risk Platform was deployed as a desktop and virtual desktop application, and Front Arena was listed among the core applications the firm’s IT and desktop support team managed for trading users and operations staff. The implementation aligned with standard Trade Order Management System (TOMS) capabilities, with configuration focused on cross-asset order management, trade lifecycle orchestration, position and inventory reporting, and risk analytics and pricing functions consistent with institutional trading workflows. Configuration work was operated alongside desktop and VDI profiles, reflecting the firm’s move from physical to virtual desktops and the need to maintain low-latency trader access and desktop persistence for market data tools. Operational integrations and infrastructure support were provided through the firm’s existing estate, including VMware vSphere and Horizon View for virtualization and VDI delivery, Active Directory for authentication and user provisioning, Microsoft Exchange for messaging, Bloomberg for market data terminals, and Cisco UC systems for voice. Mobile and endpoint management was handled via AirWatch and standard device management tooling, and the platform was one of several applications the IT team routinely troubleshot alongside Bloomberg, Tableau, and CRM tooling. Governance and operational processes supporting the deployment included scripted onboarding and offboarding workflows using PowerShell to adjust calendar and mailbox permissions, SCCM driven PC imaging and Windows 10 upgrades, and an annual disaster recovery exercise at a Secaucus New Jersey DR site provisioned with 25 desks. Desktop support coverage included VIP and trader support for approximately 150 users, and IT operational responsibilities explicitly covered application availability, VDI provisioning, and device and connectivity troubleshooting for the trading environment.

S&P Global Legacy S&P IHS Markit KY3P AML, Fraud and Compliance TRM n/a 2016 2016
In 2016, Anchorage Capital Group implemented S&P IHS Markit KY3P to strengthen its AML, Fraud and Compliance controls for third party and vendor risk management. Anchorage Capital Group deployed S&P IHS Markit KY3P as a core tool within the firmwide vendor due diligence and monitoring program. The deployment focused on third party screening, onboarding diligence workflows, periodic monitoring and risk scoring consistent with AML, Fraud and Compliance use cases. S&P IHS Markit KY3P was configured to support documented due diligence activities, structured evidence capture, and ongoing watchlist or adverse media surveillance as part of vendor lifecycle management. KY3P was used in conjunction with other third party and proprietary tools such as BitSight to inform vendor assessments, and it supported coordination between the regulatory compliance and technology departments. Operational coverage included quarterly operational risk reviews with line managers across business centers and coordination with the Operational Risk Committee which reported to the Chief Operating Officer. Governance changes accompanied the technical rollout, leveraging an enterprise risk management framework and an operational risk matrix to capture identified vendor risks, control adequacy ratings and treatment recommendations. KY3P intake and monitoring workflows were embedded into vendor due diligence processes and into the firm’s lessons learned and vendor oversight cadence. The implementation positioned S&P IHS Markit KY3P as a persistent component of Anchorage Capital Group’s third party risk program within AML, Fraud and Compliance, used to operationalize vendor screening, ongoing monitoring and evidence-based oversight across global offices and senior governance forums.
