Configuration emphasized standardized data models and role based access to ensure HR and people managers could rely on a single source of truth, while keeping the deployment footprint compatible with both cloud hosted services and on premises data stores.
Integration work tied ELMO HR Core into a broader application ecosystem using a central iPaaS layer. AnglicareSA initially used Microsoft Azure integration services but shifted to a stabilized integration approach that connected ELMO HR Core with TechnologyOne ERP, Salesforce Lumary, Rapid Global workforce management, Microsoft Active Directory and SQL databases, enabling automated data flows between HR, payroll, rostering and constituent management systems.
Governance changes accompanied the rollout, with process standardization for master data, handoff points between HR and payroll, and an internal operating model that reduced manual reconciliation of records. The integration strategy removed point to point fragility, made supportability more consistent, and enabled the IT team to manage integrations in house rather than relying on external parties.

The integration architecture enabled faster delivery of integration projects and centralized data flows into Lumary CM as the primary client and service record.
Governance of integration and operational support was centralized within the internal Application Support function, with Brett Rowe cited as the manager overseeing the approach to reliable system integration. Since introducing Boomi in early 2023 AnglicareSA reported a reduction in integration time by at least 30 percent, projects that previously took more than a month completing in roughly one week, elimination of manual data entry related to integrations, and the ability to manage integration in house. These operational changes reinforced Lumary CM as the central Healthcare ERP instance for constituent data and service coordination across AnglicareSA.
