In 2019, Angus & Coote implemented Apple Pay for Payment Processing on their website. The deployment targeted the web checkout experience, enabling customers to authenticate and complete card transactions via Safari using Apple Pay as a payment option.
The implementation incorporated front-end integration of the Apple Pay button and browser payment request flows, merchant validation and tokenized payment data capture. Server-side components were configured to accept Apple Pay payment tokens and forward them into the retailer payment processing pipeline for authorization and settlement, with workflows mapping shipping and billing data into order records and handling asynchronous payment confirmations.
Operational scope covered the online commerce channel and involved ecommerce, payments operations and IT teams for deployment and support. Integrations were focused on the website checkout and backend payment processing systems, and merchant domain verification and certificate management were implemented to meet Apple Pay requirements.
Governance centered on merchant identity management, certificate lifecycle management and reconciliation handoffs between ecommerce and finance teams. Documentation and operational processes were established to manage token handling, payment event mapping to order lifecycle states and ongoing maintenance of Apple Pay on the site.

| Frontier Software | Legacy | Frontier Software Chris21 Payroll | Payroll | HCM | n/a | 2012 | 2012 |
In 2012, Angus & Coote deployed Frontier Software Chris21 Payroll to centralize Payroll processing across its Australian retail operations. The Frontier Software Chris21 Payroll implementation was scoped to support fortnightly payroll runs for 4,000 employees and a separate monthly payroll for 1,000 employees, covering Angus & Coote stores as well as sister banners Goldmark and Prouds.
The implementation configured core payroll functional capabilities including payroll master file maintenance, new employee setup, leave processing for annual and sick leave, calculation and payment of termination and redundancy payments, overtime and allowance calculations, back payments, end of month and end of financial year processing, and preparation of PAYG and Payroll Tax submissions. The system was used to generate adhoc management reports and to administer payroll deductions for health funds, social clubs, unions, child support and garnishees, reflecting standard Payroll functional workflows.
Operational integrations were explicitly implemented with Timeteq Time & Attendance for importing timeclock data into payruns and with the ANZ Transactive banking platform for payment processing. Day to day payroll operations were organized as fortnightly and monthly batch cycles, with importation of timesheets from Timeteq required for accurate fortnightly processing and outbound payment files staged for ANZ Transactive processing.
Governance and operational control included a supervised payroll team model, with a Senior Payroll Officer overseeing four Payroll Officers, documented payroll procedures and checklists, management of payroll enquiries, and ongoing updates to reflect EBA and awards changes and applicable legislation. The implementation included internal training activities, specifically training the payroll team in payroll adjustments and redundancy calculations, and ongoing identification of process improvements to improve customer service.
