In 2013, Antena 3 Spain implemented seven Viz Multichannel channel-branding stations as part of a deployment that aligns with Vizrt Viz Channel Branding in the Web Content Management category. The installation was executed in Spain and integrated channel-branding capabilities directly into the broadcaster's on-air presentation and continuity workflows.
The technical footprint included seven Viz Multichannel channel-branding stations, a Viz Engine for real-time rendering, and a centralized Viz Graphic Hub that orchestrated playout scheduling and graphic distribution. Functional capabilities emphasized automated promotions, continuity and on-air graphics, with the centralized Graphic Hub providing a single control point for multichannel graphic orchestration.
Operational ownership and scope focused on Marketing and Traffic teams, who were enabled to control branding workflows across channels and schedules, moving content governance closer to the business functions that manage audience-facing continuity. The deployment used Viz Engine rendering to support live transitions and templated graphics, while the Graphic Hub centralized asset distribution and playout automation for consistent channel presentation.
The project was delivered by Vizrt's Spanish office alongside implementation partner Unitecnic, and because Viz Multichannel is the predecessor to Viz Channel Branding an upgrade path to Vizrt Viz Channel Branding is implied. Governance changes centered on centralized graphic orchestration and Marketing and Traffic workflow control to standardize promotions and continuity across the broadcaster's channels.
