In 2017 Antep Rugs implemented the ShipWise Web App as a Shipping Management solution to centralize order fulfillment workflows across its e commerce operations. The implementation targeted fulfillment orchestration for both B2B and B2C channels, aligning shipping processes with the companys Magento, Drupal, Shopify and Bigcommerce storefronts and an internal eBay application previously developed by the client team.
Configuration work for the ShipWise Web App focused on core Shipping Management capabilities including carrier account configuration, shipping label generation, multi carrier rate comparison, batch fulfillment processing and returns handling. The project applied standard shipment validation and order mapping logic to ensure orders from multiple sales channels entered the ShipWise Web App in normalized formats suitable for downstream label and manifest generation.
Integrations and operational coverage were executed through the existing e commerce stack, with order feeds from Magento, Shopify, Bigcommerce and the internal eBay application feeding the ShipWise Web App. Project history included earlier integration work that linked a DesktopShipper tool to FedEx, UPS and USPS accounts, and that prior carrier account work informed carrier configuration and testing approaches during the ShipWise Web App rollout.
Project governance was led by a dedicated project manager using Jira and Confluence for agile planning, ServiceNow for incident and change tracking, and Office 365 and MS Project for program reporting. Development and integration activities used Microsoft Azure and AWS environments and .NET C# toolsets consistent with the clients technical tooling, enabling controlled phased cutovers and coordination between business operations and IT teams.
