Field operations integrated Arrow Gold GNSS receivers paired via Bluetooth to Samsung Galaxy Tab Active 2 tablets running Field Maps, with Eos Tools Pro mediating high accuracy positioning for ArcGIS apps. Apex Utilities participated in the Utility Network beta and ran a three year pilot program, rolling the solution out to 50 contractors and employees and deploying 22 Arrow Gold receivers, while also acquiring an Arrow Gold base station to provide 1 to 3 centimeter accuracy within a 30 mile radius and to remove third party RTK subscription costs of 1500 dollars per year per user.
