The implementation delivered core Data Warehouse capabilities including centralized storage and cataloging of claims data, data ingestion and transformation pipelines, data virtualization and a BI consumption layer. Axians, formerly Kadenza, was engaged to implement the BI and data virtualization layers, and to configure analytics workflows and query federation against the warehouse. Operational coverage targeted nationwide care-declaration datasets and connectivity with Dutch healthcare stakeholders and claims data feeds, consolidating multi-source inputs into the IBM Db2 Warehouse on Cloud environment. The architecture emphasized realtime analytics capability and secure processing, with the warehouse acting as the canonical store for care-declaration reporting and analysis. Governance workstreams established during rollout included data access controls, role based provisioning for BI consumers, and processes for onboarding stakeholder data feeds and analytics consumers. Axians supported phased delivery of the BI tooling and datavirtualization to align reporting workflows with Vektis operational teams and external stakeholder requirements. The implementation centralized, secured and enabled analysis of nationwide care-declaration data, improving flexibility, security and realtime analytics for Dutch healthcare stakeholders. IBM Db2 Warehouse on Cloud remains the primary Data Warehouse platform for Vektis analytics and claims processing workloads.
