In 2013, Aptitude Health implemented Oracle Netsuite OpenAir to establish Professional Services Automation for service delivery and finance at the 50 person communications firm. The deployment used the Oracle Netsuite OpenAir cloud model and was configured to provide a single system of record for project workflows and financial control across the organization.
Implementation focused on core Professional Services Automation capabilities, including project management, resource scheduling and capacity planning, time and expense capture, project accounting and billing rules, and invoicing automation. Oracle Netsuite OpenAir was configured with role based access and timesheet approval workflows to support ongoing utilization tracking and standardized revenue recognition inputs for the finance function.
Rollout covered services delivery and finance teams with a phased adoption approach, emphasizing standardized project intake, centralized billing governance, and formalized timesheet and approval processes. Governance centered on shared operational controls between project managers and finance, and training was delivered to operational and financial users to embed the Professional Services Automation workflows into day to day operations.
