The implementation exposed core Sage 1000 data to the webshop via real time integration, surfacing live stock information, customer specific pricing, and full account management into a customer portal. Delivered functional capabilities include inventory visibility and availability, account and pricing management tied to ERP records, bulk order capture with file upload, catalog search and product discovery, and out of the box B2B order features aligned with ERP Financial workflows.
Architecturally the deployment pairs Sage 1000 as the financial and operational record with the Aphix cloud based SaaS platform, using synchronous data feeds for stock and pricing and supporting third party logistics details at order time. Operational scope covers AR Wholesale’s B2B customers across the United Kingdom and an online assortment exceeding 12,000 SKUs, impacting order management, inventory control, pricing administration and customer service functions.
Governance and rollout were coordinated between AR Wholesale, Datel and Aphix during the covid 19 period, enabling a 24 7 365 self service channel for independent retail customers. AR Wholesale is a UK distributor with an expanding catalog of more than 12,000 pet and equestrian SKUs, and the Aphix eCommerce Suite was chosen for its cloud based SaaS architecture and out of the box B2B order capabilities.
The implementation configured Aphix eCommerce Suite to operate dual WebShops, exposing the full product catalog to both trade and consumer channels while enabling customer specific pricing and self service ordering. Core functional capabilities implemented included B2B order workflows, account level pricing management across thousands of lines, catalog and search configuration for intuitive product discovery, and live stock visibility to support 24 7 ordering.
Integration work linked Aphix to the Group back office Sage 1000 system, with the integration delivered alongside the Groups Sage partner Datel to synchronize stock and pricing data. Operational coverage focused on AR Wholesales B2B customer base across the UK, enabling independent retailers to self serve online, and impacted sales order management, customer service and ecommerce operations.
Governance and rollout were executed as a coordinated program with Datel for ERP integration and phased testing to validate stock accuracy and search behavior before go live. Post go live the platform generated multi million pound turnover online and customer feedback cited up to date stock information and an intuitive search function as key benefits.
