In 2021 Arcadis US implemented Oracle Cloud ERP as an ERP Financial platform to centralize procurement and financial process execution across Arcadis North America, including the United States, Canada and Puerto Rico. The deployment targeted Procure-to-Pay consolidation across four business lines and more than 100 locations, supporting an annual spend profile of approximately ~S1M.
The implementation emphasized Procure-to-Pay process automation and e-Procurement capabilities, configuring supplier onboarding workflows, procurement sourcing to invoice controls, and requisition to payment orchestration within Oracle Cloud ERP. Functional elements included a Preferred Suppliers List and a procurement benefits tracking system that was implemented on SharePoint to report cost savings, avoidances and incentives and rebates on a monthly cadence.
Operational governance was assigned to procurement leadership, with a Procure-to-Pay Process Implementation Manager accountable for both the rollout and ongoing operation across North America, and with a strong focus on internal and external change management. Governance workstreams addressed supplier onboarding plans, procure-to-pay organization development, and procurement policy and process alignment to Oracle Cloud ERP, and the program achieved implementation of the PSL and the SharePoint-based benefits tracking capability as part of the rollout.
