The deployment also incorporated planning tools to surface shortages, and measurement capabilities for Master Schedule Attainment and Operations Plan Schedule Attainment, reflecting explicit planning and scheduling responsibilities.
Operational scope and governance centered on the Production Control organization, where the Production Control Manager supervised seven salaried planners and one hourly resource and led cross functional coordination with Sales, Account Management, Manufacturing, Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, and Finance. Process restructuring focused on standardized planning cadences, development of metrics for individual planner effectiveness, and ABS based continuous improvement routines to drive consistent planning, order promising, and material delivery controls. The program positioned Oracle Cloud ERP as the cloud based financial and planning backbone, replacing JD Edwards and Oracle E-Business Suite as part of the stated upgrade effort.
