In 2015 Arcserve implemented Oracle NetSuite ERP as its ERP Financial backbone to centralize finance and multi-entity order-to-cash processes. The deployment used NetSuite OneWorld administration for a 160+ user global footprint, with on-staff applications management and a Certified NetSuite Administrator, Certification number 8270, responsible for configuration and ongoing system administration.
Configuration focused on core ERP Financial capabilities, including financial management, multi-entity accounting, and order-to-cash workflows. The implementation included custom automation for appliance purchasing, a designed dashboard to monitor multiple NetSuite processes, and the introduction of deduplication and data cleansing routines to improve master data quality.
Integrations were explicit parts of the implementation, with the EDI process reimplemented using Jitterbit to handle external trading partner transactions, and a bidirectional linkage between Salesforce and NetSuite that automatically closes and locks SFDC opportunities once an order is invoiced in NetSuite. Arcserve also executed acquisition project planning and implementation activities across both NetSuite and Salesforce as part of operational consolidation for finance and sales functions.
Governance and process changes were enacted to operationalize automated workflows and data hygiene, including formalized deduplication procedures, data cleansing initiatives, and monitoring dashboards to surface process exceptions. Administration and process ownership were consolidated under the certified administrator and applications management function to sustain the ERP Financial environment and support ongoing integrations and acquisitions.
