The company controller led the setup of Deltek ComputerEase, retrieving accurate job cost information from the previous accounting system and provisioning the application across multiple Argo offices. Configuration work centered on core accounting and project controls inside Deltek ComputerEase, including formalized job cost processes and procedures, AIA billing workflows with accompanying owner and general contractor forms, and the creation and upkeep of job budgets and change orders. The deployment also included establishing a purchase order procedure and high volume accounts payable workflows to support day to day construction financial operations. Operational coverage and integrations included establishing a payroll import process overseen by the controller and payroll clerk, plus traveling to other offices to provide hands on training and ongoing support. The implementation impacted accounting, payroll, purchasing, and project controls functions and centralized the production of Job Cost and WiP reports for all offices. Governance and process work emphasized internal controls, documented procedures, staff oversight, and ownership of new workflows by the controller, who managed training cadence and support. The rollout ensured AIA billing was complete for all offices including required forms for Owner and GC and provided a structured foundation for consolidated job cost reporting.
