In 2013, Arrowhead Evaluation Services, Inc. implemented NextGen EHR as its Electronic Health Record to centralize patient intake and clinical documentation workflows. Team members used NextGen EHR alongside established filing and record keeping guidelines to organize contact information, medical history and correspondence archives, and they handled routine office tasks including copying, faxing and scanning medical documentation and transaction receipts. Front office staff answered incoming calls daily, clarified questions and communicated any patient care discrepancies to clinical staff and management to inform care decisions.
