In 2014, Artis implemented Oracle NetSuite ERP as its ERP Financial system. The deployment centralized core finance functions for the 160 employee leisure and hospitality operator headquartered in the Netherlands, establishing a single financial control plane for accounting and reporting.
The Oracle NetSuite ERP deployment focused on standard ERP Financial modules, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, fixed assets, billing and expense management, configured to support hospitality revenue and cost flows. Configuration work emphasized chart of accounts consolidation, period close orchestration and invoice to cash workflows, with role based access controls applied to finance and accounting users.
Integrations and operational interoperability included connective workflows with Artis digital tooling, notably e commerce touchpoints such as Shopify and productivity suites including Microsoft Office and Google Suite for reporting extracts and spreadsheet based reconciliation. Data exchange patterns used structured export and import processes and system to system connectivity to align sales and ticketing data with the ERP financial ledgers.
Governance and rollout were executed as a finance led program, with phased onboarding of accounting and operations teams and documented process changes for month end close and accounts payable approvals. Ongoing operational governance emphasized centralized control of master data, standardized journal procedures and audit ready transaction trails within Oracle NetSuite ERP.

In 2023 Artis deployed Pluvo LMS to power an online academy that trains volunteers on park history, locations and animal knowledge. The implementation positioned Pluvo LMS as the central Learning and Development platform for volunteer onboarding and HR process training across Artis in the Netherlands.
The Pluvo LMS implementation delivered course authoring and mobile-optimized multimedia lessons, structured learning paths for onboarding, and learner progress tracking to support on-demand volunteer education. Authoring-tool usage and streamlined onboarding workflows are inferred from the academy model and multimedia content, enabling staff to publish modules and volunteers to consume training via mobile devices.
Operational scope focused on volunteer programs and HR process training within the park, centralizing content to reduce reliance on staff-led pre-visit sessions. The solution reduced staff time spent on pre-visit training and made learning accessible via mobile and multimedia, supporting more scalable volunteer onboarding.
