| Harver | Legacy | Harver Assessments | Talent Assessment, Skills Intelligence | HCM | n/a | 2019 | 2019 |
In 2019, Arvato implemented Harver Assessments in a Talent Assessment,Skills Intelligence deployment to address extreme early turnover in its contact center operations. The program targeted a situation where more than half of new hires were leaving within the first three months, with exit questionnaires identifying a misalignment between candidate expectations and the realities of customer support work.
Harver Assessments was configured to combine realistic job preview content with scientifically validated assessment instruments. The deployment included Arvato specific first person videos that depict incoming calls and manager interactions, situational judgment tests and other pre employment assessment elements to surface job fit across skills, personality and cultural alignment. The solution was delivered as a unified candidate journey, enabling recruiters to operate from one assessment platform rather than multiple separate tests.
The implementation was executed together with the implementation team from Harver and was embedded directly into Arvato hiring workflows for customer service and contact center roles. Operational coverage included recruiters, team leaders and HR hiring managers across multiple contact center locations, with assessments used as a preselection gate before interviews. The workstream focused on candidate matching and expectation management, rather than technical integrations with named third party systems.
Governance and process changes centralized the recruiter experience and standardised the interview funnel, reducing reliance on traditional screening methods. Outcomes reported by Arvato included a 63 percent decrease in agent turnover within three months, an increase in hire rate from 45 percent of interviewed candidates to 85 percent, and a reduction in average recruiter time to assess an applicant from 75 minutes to 20 minutes. These results reflect changes to hiring workflow, candidate experience, and selection criteria driven by the Talent Assessment,Skills Intelligence implementation of Harver Assessments.
