In 2016, Astana-Finance implemented Temenos T24 to establish a Core Banking platform for its banking operations in Kazakhstan. The engagement was delivered by Foranx and targeted a compact operational footprint, reflecting Astana-Finance's approximately 30 employee structure and focused product set.
The Temenos T24 deployment emphasized core account processing, customer master data, deposit and loan servicing, payment processing, and general ledger capabilities, aligning with standard Core Banking functional modules. Configuration work included product parameterization, chart of accounts setup, and localization for local currency and reporting conventions.
Implementation activities covered data conversion, end to end testing, and cutover planning, with integrations built for front office channels and back office reconciliation, including payment switch and ledger posting interfaces as typical Core Banking connections. The project architecture was centered on a centralized core instance serving Astana-Finance's operational sites, with application and database layers provisioned by the SI.
Governance was managed jointly by Astana-Finance and Foranx, incorporating configuration sign off, user acceptance testing, and operational training for front line and operations staff. Foranx provided post go live support and stabilization services to embed Temenos T24 into daily banking operations.
