In 2019 Aswaaq United Arab Emirates engaged MobiCommerce to migrate its online platform and deploy eCommerce capabilities. MobiCommerce migrated Aswaaq from NopCommerce to Magento and delivered a multi-store progressive web application and mobile apps to enable store-level inventory, promotions, and delivery time-slot management.
The implementation created a scalable multi-store storefront architecture with PWA and native mobile commerce channels, and included branch-level warehouse synchronization and integrated loyalty using Wafa. Functional modules implemented included store-level inventory control, promotions management, delivery time-slot orchestration, loyalty integration and multi-branch catalog management.
Operational coverage was focused on 15 branches in Dubai and targeted eCommerce and mobile commerce across the United Arab Emirates. Integrations emphasized branch-level warehouse sync and a Wafa loyalty connection, aligning storefront sessions and inventory state to branch availability.
Project delivery began in August 2019 and was completed in about a year, with MobiCommerce responsible for migration to Magento and rollout of the multi-store PWA and mobile apps. The end state delivered a unified eCommerce application using MobiCommerce that centralized store inventory and promotions while maintaining branch level operational controls.
