Sage Legacy Sage 50cloud Accounting (ex Peachtree) ERP Financial ERP n/a 2015 2015
In 2015, Atlanta Habitat For Humanity implemented Sage 50cloud Accounting (ex Peachtree) as its ERP Financial system. The nonprofit, operating with roughly 40 employees, provisioned Sage 50cloud Accounting to act as the financial system of record for homeowner escrow accounting, mortgage receivables, maintenance charges and routine finance operations. Configuration emphasized escrow account management and transactional workflows to oversee disbursements from homeowner escrow accounts, manage insurance policy interactions, and process property tax and sanitation payments. The deployment leveraged ERP Financial capabilities such as general ledger posting, accounts payable for recurring property obligations, accounts receivable and customer ledger management for homeowners, bank and escrow reconciliation processes, and structured month end reporting and schedules for mortgage, escrow, maintenance, rental deposit and late charge accounts. Operational integration centered on reconciliations between Sage 50cloud Accounting and the organizations homeowner database, executed as part of month end close activities to align transaction activity across systems. The system was used to produce monthly reports for external reporting to the credit bureau, to prepare audit schedules and reports for the Internal Audit Consultant and external auditors, and to respond to ad hoc information requests from executive leadership. Governance and process responsibility remained with Finance & Accounting, with the VP of Finance & Accounting receiving periodic briefings on significant progress, problems and trends, and the President and CEO receiving responsive reporting as required. Sage 50cloud Accounting (ex Peachtree) was configured to support these governance routines, to generate the month end reconciliations and audit deliverables directed by leadership, and to underpin homeowner account servicing workflows across finance and homeowner support functions.
