In 2017, Atlantic Utility Trailer Sales implemented Procede Excede DMS to centralize dealer operations and reporting, using Procede Excede DMS as its Dealership Management platform. The Dealership Management deployment addressed a 35 employee automotive trailer retailer managing thousands of mobile assets across the continental United States, and it supported core business functions in sales, leasing, accounting, and service. The implementation focused on inventory management, sales order and leasing workflows, service and maintenance scheduling, contract and inspection tracking, and automated reporting. Procede Excede DMS was configured to replace a set of Excel based reports, and it became the system of record for month and year end inventory reporting and analysis covering approximately 60 million dollars of equipment. Operational coverage extended company wide, with daily inventory checks and reconciliation, lease, service, and sales inspections routed through the DMS, and intercompany billing review workflows consolidated inside the application. The rollout was supported by a four person support team responsible for day to day activities and system-driven operational checks, and the system was used to coordinate preventative maintenance and 24 hour critical breakdown interventions across the service footprint. Governance and change management were led by the Manager of Operations who reported to the President and CFO and directed the implementation as a strategic project. Procede Excede DMS was used to automate a multitude of reports, reducing non value add activities and increasing productivity in all departments, while enabling structured month end and year end inventory controls and reporting.
