In 2018, ATP deployed Sisthema Panthera ERP as its core application in the ERP Financial category to consolidate finance, production and inventory control. ATP is a Modena-based manufacturer founded in 1975, operating three production facilities with more than 80 employees, and it had invested heavily in Industry 4.0 initiatives and staff training across 2017 and 2018 prior to the Panthera rollout.
The implementation encompassed most of Panthera’s functional modules, including batch and traceability management, production order processing, inventory and warehouse workflows, labeling and transport document generation, multi-unit handling, and real-time cost accounting. Sisthema Panthera ERP was configured to capture the origin code of semi-finished products at the batch level and to automatically print that data on transport documents and packaging labels, aligning transactional workflows with operational traceability requirements.
Operational coverage extended across manufacturing, warehouse and logistics functions, and the application was adopted by an expanding user community, growing from an initial 15 users to more than 50 users in addition to production staff. The selection rationale cited Panthera’s balance of innovation and reliability, its ability to support international relationships, and the vendor’s network of certified local partners coupled with direct support from the parent company.
Governance shifted toward centralized computerized process control, with management positioning Panthera at the center of operations and progressively increasing digital ownership of processes and functions. ATP retained ongoing investment plans in the platform, prioritizing an advanced logistics project and a future integrated WMS module from Panthera to extend warehouse orchestration and material flow control.
The deployment delivered explicit operational benefits described by ATP, including compliant traceability under European MOCA regulation 1935:2004, simplified batch tracking, coordinated multi-unit processes, optimized material movements, and enhanced transparency for cost monitoring. ATP continues to expand Panthera’s footprint as new modules and features become available, embedding the Sisthema Panthera ERP platform into its core manufacturing and financial operations.
