Oracle Xero Oracle NetSuite OneWorld ERP Financial ERP n/a 2023 2023
In 2023, Audioboom implemented Oracle NetSuite OneWorld as its ERP Financial system to consolidate accounting and scale financial operations across North America, Europe, and Australasia. The deployment replaced Xero and established a single cloud business system intended to support the company’s public reporting obligations and growth ambitions beyond its current revenue run rate. Oracle NetSuite OneWorld was configured to centralize core financial capabilities including bookkeeping, reporting, month-end close, planning and analysis. The implementation extended to profitability analysis across individual podcast shows, enabling the finance team to model advertiser engagement, consumption patterns, and production costs, and Audioboom plans to adopt NetSuite Planning and Budgeting for deeper forecasting and productivity analysis. Operational coverage focused on the finance organization and creator payments, with NetSuite supporting automated bookkeeping and payment workflows for over 8,000 podcast creators, a change managed via NetSuite Advanced Customer Support. The system is used to produce the financial views required to run advertising campaigns and to inform creative strategy, consolidating revenue and cost data into a single ERP Financial ledger. Governance and process restructuring emphasized automation and faster close cycles, Audioboom reported a 60 percent reduction in month-end processing time and improvements in data accuracy. The deployment aimed to remove manual workarounds, save staff time on reporting and payments, and provide the financial rigor expected of a publicly traded podcast publisher that has generated over $200 million for creators since inception.
