In 2015, Aussie Broadband implemented Oracle NetSuite ERP to standardize core ERP Financial operations across its finance organization. The deployment focused on centralizing Accounts Payable and supplier record management for the Finance team that is split between the Morwell and Dandenong South offices in Victoria, Australia.
Oracle NetSuite ERP was configured to manage supplier master records, supplier credit application processing, invoice entry, purchase order processing and payment run file generation. The implementation included formalized 3-way matching and invoice approval workflows, alongside configuration for accruals, prepayments and capital work in progress accounting. Oracle NetSuite ERP is the operational system for supplier reconciliations, payment processing and AP control workflows.
Operational coverage emphasized day to day Accounts Payable activities, with AP officers reporting to the Management Accountant and performing supplier reconciliations, payment runs and supplier onboarding tasks. Role-level usage included part time AP positions working across offices and travel between sites to align processes and maintain supplier master data. The solution supported standard ERP Financial functional terminology such as supplier management, invoice matching and payment orchestration.
Governance was articulated through workflow rules for invoice approvals and purchase order matching, with Management Accountant oversight for payment finalization and month end activities. Training and upskilling in accruals, prepayments and Capital WIP accounting were incorporated into operational readiness to align staff capabilities with NetSuite usage. The implementation positioned Aussie Broadband Oracle NetSuite ERP as the central ERP Financial system for Accounts Payable and supplier lifecycle control.

In 2021, Aussie Broadband implemented Litmos LMS for Learning and Development. The deployment positioned Litmos LMS as the central platform to support compliance, onboarding and role based training across the Australian telecommunications carrier.
The L&D team configured targeted learning paths and adaptive compliance training suites, leveraging the Australian foundation compliance training suite The SAFE Files and standardized office ergonomics courses for call centre staff. Self enrollment was enabled with reported 100 plus monthly self enrollments, and timed releases were used for the Aussie Broadband 101 induction to sequence content as it became relevant to each new role.
Operational coverage included geographically dispersed employees and regional call centres across Australia, spanning customer service, sales and customer care functions where workplace safety and telecommunications regulatory obligations are critical. Content pairing allowed company policies to be enforced alongside Litmos LMS courses, and accessibility design choices were applied to appeal to diverse ages and learning preferences.
Governance and process changes centralized role based assignment and reporting, with simple trackable reporting functions used by the L&D team to monitor compliance completion. The rollout established routine scheduling for compliance cycles, and the organisation plans six month timed release quizzes to reinforce knowledge retention.
Reported outcomes include an 80 per cent compliance completion rate and the operational use of adaptive compliance suites, with Litmos LMS supporting tailored compliance and induction workflows. The L&D team is tracking toward a 90 per cent completion objective and intends to iterate on timed assessments and release schedules to sustain completion rates.
