IgniteTech Legacy IgniteTech Computron ERP Financial ERP Financial Management n/a 1997 1997
In 1997, AIDC implemented IgniteTech Computron as its core ERP Financial application. The deployment targeted accounting and administration operations for the Sydney based media firm, aligning the system to support transactional finance and treasury workflows for a roughly 20 person organization. The IgniteTech Computron implementation emphasized accounts payable, accounts receivable, fixed asset management and cash management modules. Implementation work documented in project notes included systems definition for AP and FA ledgers, cash system definitions for monitoring treasury cash flows and for settlement of drawdowns on corporate loan facilities, and the preparation of procedural manuals to codify day to day processing and controls. Operational procedures captured in the manuals addressed accounts payable processing, receivable reconciliation, fixed asset capitalization and depreciation, and bank account funding management. Deployment architecture reflected a period appropriate on site client server model with configuration tailored for accounting and administration users in the Sydney office. Governance and process ownership were centered on the accounting and administration function, with the Associate Director role leading system definition, configuration, documentation and providing accounting support to the company mortgage area.
