| Microsoft | Legacy | Microsoft Dynamics GP | ERP Financial | ERP Financial Management | n/a | 2015 | 2016 |
In 2015 Autosports Group implemented Microsoft Dynamics GP as its ERP Financial system to centralize finance operations for a national retail automotive group of over 40 dealerships and approximately 1,800 employees. Microsoft Dynamics GP was positioned to support core corporate finance and accounting functions across the four person headquarters financial team and distributed dealership accounting workflows.
Configuration emphasized core Microsoft Dynamics GP financial capabilities, including general ledger and journal processing used for monthly reporting, accounts payable and receivable workflows used for daily payouts of sold vehicles, and bank and cash management to support cash settlement processes. Reporting and reconciliation workflows were established in Microsoft Dynamics GP to produce the monthly GP reports and the annual Matrix reporting outputs, and staff routinely exported GP data into spreadsheets for downstream analysis and journal creation.
Operational use included integration of reporting routines with ERA where the team ran monthly GP and other reports on ERA as part of close processes. Day to day operational scope covered HQ finance responsibilities plus transactional touchpoints at retail sites, specifically paying out sold cars, bailing vehicles to balance accounts, and maintaining manufacturer logbooks across the national retail footprint.
Governance and workflow ownership rested with the Autosports Group HQ financial team, which carried responsibility for report generation, journal posting and logbook reconciliation. In late 2019 the team executed a restoration of all logbooks after a virus compromise and assumed ongoing cataloging duties for new vehicle brands introduced in 2020, reflecting strengthened data stewardship and procedural controls around financial and asset records.

| Humanforce | Legacy | Humanforce Ento Onboarding and Workflows | Onboarding | HCM | n/a | 2018 | 2018 |
In 2018, Autosports Group implemented Humanforce Ento Onboarding and Workflows to centralize core Onboarding processes across HR and safety functions. The rollout established Humanforce Ento Onboarding and Workflows as the primary workflow engine for new hire intake, termination processing, and contract variation handling, with configuration work and process ownership later led by the HR Manager during October 2020 to September 2021 for the group’s NSW operations and broader national safety governance activities.
Configuration focused on workflow orchestration for new starters, termination approvals, and contract variation paths, using form-driven task assignment, role-based approvals, and automated status transitions typical of Onboarding platforms. The implementation emphasized standardized templates for induction tasks, compliance checklist automation, and routed approvals to enforce segregation of responsibilities between HR and payroll functions.
Operational coverage connected HR, safety, and payroll governance, with the Ento workflows used to enforce process controls and to publish training and audit requirements into national safety processes. The program did not document external system vendors for technical integrations in the source record, however governance work created defined handoffs between HR and payroll teams and established reporting and auditing processes tied to the workflow outputs.
Governance and process transformation were explicit components of the program, including establishing a session zero for the National Safety Council and chairing quarterly council meetings to design and implement a national safety framework for training, improvements, reporting, and auditing. The HR Manager also authored a Segregation of Duties policy between HR and payroll, served on the ESG Charter committee, and provided advocacy in Fair Work Commission hearings and conciliations that resulted in settled or dismissed matters.

| Pentana Solutions | Legacy | Pentana eraPower DMS | Dealership Management | ERP Services and Operations | n/a | 2019 | 2019 |
In 2019 Autosports Group implemented Pentana eraPower DMS as its Dealership Management platform and exposed the application through a dealer-branded web portal. The Pentana eraPower DMS instance is accessible via a Pentana-hosted login page linked from Autosports Group website, establishing a web-accessible operational surface for dealer and customer interactions.
The implementation centers on core Dealership Management capabilities, with the Pentana eraPower DMS configured to manage vehicle inventory and listings, sales processing and deal capture, service workshop scheduling and job management, parts inventory and billing, and customer records management. Configuration emphasis aligns with standard eraPower DMS functional modules, enabling dealer-facing workflows and front-end presentation of inventory and service options.
Deployment is realized as a web-accessible instance served through Pentana Solutions infrastructure, with the dealer portal surfacing system functions to the public website for inventory browsing and service appointment entry. Integration posture reflects category norms, including system endpoints for accounting interfaces, finance and insurance workflow handoffs, and parts supplier data exchanges, while authentication and role-based access control govern dealer staff and administrative access.
Operational coverage focuses on Autosports Group dealer operations in Australia, supporting sales, service, parts, and finance business functions through a centralized DMS instance. Governance is oriented around dealer workflow orchestration and portal access management to align front-office customer touchpoints with back-office inventory and service processes.
